SPRINGRIA

 

My bartender niece Jenna came up with this recipe for Easter and we had to make a second batch.  Lovely and festive it tastes like Winter melting into Spring. Honestly it is wonderful for Summer too ! 

 

Ingredients:

1 bottle of white wine 

2 cups cut up assorted fruits (honey dew, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries)

1/2 cup rum

1/2 cup peach schnapps

4 cups lemon soda

sugar or simple syrup (see recipe) to taste

 1.  Mix first 5 ingredients in a large pitcher, taste and adjust by adding desired amount of sugar or simple syrup. 

2.  Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, or serve immediately over crushed ice.
