OLÉ  SANGRIA

 

Tempranillo is the wine of choice for an authentic Spanish sangria. One taste of it's deep flavors almost transports you to Spain.  From a colorful start to a delicious finish this Sangria shouts " Olé."

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:
1 bottle of Tempranillo wine

1/2 cup Triple Sec

1/3 cup Calvados

1/2 cup vodka

1 cup orange juice

juice of 1/2lemon

juice of 1/2 lime

green and/or red slices of one apple

thin slices of 1/2 lime

thin slices of 1/2 lemon

thin slices of 1/2 orange

4 cups gingerale 

1/4 cup of sugar or 1/2 cup simple syrup (more or less- according to taste)

1.  In a large pitcher stir all ingredients, except the gingerale, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

2.  Add the gingerale and taste.  Pour in amount of simple syrup desired, may be served immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to two hours more.
