NO- FAIL HARD BOILED EGGS

No it really is not silly posting this recipe, It is all about technique. We have experienced many a green egg yolk, jiggly egg yolk, jiggly egg white and rubbery

hard eggs. This recipe is the most fail-proof we have tried.

Three hints:

  •   Keep in mind the fresher the egg the harder it is to peel. So yes your older eggs will be easier to peel.

  •   There is no need for salt or vinegar in the cooking process, as these can unfavorably alter the egg.

  •   Cook in a single layer.

1.   In a single layer place desired number of eggs in a saucepan. Cover with cold water by an inch.

2.   Place pan over a medium heat gradually bring to just a boil and quickly reduce the heat to a low simmer.

3.   Simmer the eggs for 11 minutes, remove from heat. Cool and peel.
