Bacon Blue Cheese Dip

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get ready for some mmmmmmm’s - a hot dip with creamy blue cheese and crunchy bacon bits, one of the best combos in life.  

 

Ingredients:

 

2   8 ounce packages cream cheese  softened

1/2 cup half and half

1/2 lb. bacon cooked and crumbled (reserving 1 tablespoon bacon fat)

8 oz. blue cheese

1 clove fresh garlic

1 tablespoon snipped chives

black pepper to taste

1.  Beat cream cheese until smooth then add half and half until creamy.

2.  Mix in the remaining ingredients including the bacon fat (if desired).

3.  Pour into a greased ramekin or small baking dish and bake at 350º until                       golden and bubbly, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

 

    Serve with assorted crackers.
